“I’d say somethin’ normal, but no one cares about normal. And nothing’s funny. It’s just nude sinners and political puppets everywhere.” K. Kolníková

A charmingly Štepka-esque tragicomedy about love, kindness and denial, starring the spirit of Mrs. Katarína Kolníková. The one-of-a-kind actress Katarína Kolníková comes back from the afterlife as the grandmother, Alžbeta Láskavá, to visit her entire family. To check if finally, after the years, they changed for the better. She observes the weird family events from the grave and serves plenty of witty remarks. Ten years after the death of Mrs. Kolníková, the RNT came back to the topic of family humanity. And while Mrs. Kolníková pretended to be a ghost in the first version of Štepka’s comedy, she becomes the ghost this time. Has the family of Láskovci gained more wisdom and love in their kitchen-lives since the first issue off Lás-ka-nie, twenty four years ago? Or is it still the same old, grumpy, vulgar household with a new look, in a new edition, implying love only by name? The re-newed and re-written tragicomedy Lás-ka-nie 2 will answer everything. The crooked interpersonal relationships in the crooked mirror of crooked times, absurd humour, songs and remarkable music by Juraj Haško, such is the charming play by Stanislav Štepka, again with the one-of-a-kind madam Kolníková. Thanks to the preserved video footage of the original play, you will see her ghost, and enjoy her kind, but hard-hitting humour. And believe us, the video doesn’t take anything away from the performance. The living on the scenes are basically dead and the granny from another world is the only one, whose spirit is still alive! Moreover, Mrs. Kolníková lives not only on stage, but also among us.

The tragicomedy Lás-ka-nie from 1992 is among the most original and most successful titles of the playwright Stanislav Štepka and the Radošiná Naive Theatre (it was reprised 222 times). In the new form off Lás-ka-nie 2, both old and new faces of the theatre will appear, once again directed by Juraj Nvota. The play was created in may 2016 as a tribute, marking the 10th anniversary of Katarína Kolníková’s death and the 95th anniversary of her birth. This play became an event.
