Explosion of physical gags by the world-renowned idiot. Experience the freedom of being!

We are at a talent show. A charming, sharp-dressed man with a wide smile hosts the talent show, of course, without words. We watch the performers. An unsuccessful door-opener imitates animals. From a confused chicken, through a princess on horseback, a caterpillar on a journey all the way to a dinosaur hunter. The climax comes in the form of a cat, perfectly singing Aretha Franklin songs. In the end, however, the talent only applauds himself. In the circle of light which symbolizes the five minutes of fame, new hopefuls appear – a singer with a jazz band, a macho cowboy, as well as a frustrated and shy teenage Jesus. The fascinating imitation of people and creatures by Trygve Wakenshaw is a vital part of his show.

Nautilus is a thrilling parody of the showbusiness and “say cheese” smiles. A play about fame, the spotlight and their short lifespan. A fantastic mixture of physical comedy, brashness, and an explosion of hilarious ideas. Unexpected micro-stories in an empty space stimulate the fantasy of the viewer’s mind, but also socio-political and philosophical thought. All of that and more performed by an adorable idiot and his magical physical trickery, perfected ad absurdum. The peak is the duel of two cowboys and their parallel-flying bullets, performed by the clown alone. We are in a world without the boundaries of physics.

Originally, Nautilus is a sea mollusk living in a shell. In the case of Trygve Wakenshaw, one will enter a state where one gladly leaves their shell and shows what he/she is capable of! After this experience, your feet will also clap, and you too will want to free yourself from your boundaries and live free outside your shell.

The play freely follows up on the great comedy Kraken. Don’t miss this internationally recognized master of motion. Your eyes will be glued to him from start to finish. His show did not only sell out the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, but also the International Mime Festival in London.

A Slovak premiere – only at Kremnica Gags!
