Theatre LAB VŠMU (SK) – La Manchaft: ME, DON QUIJOTE

The auctorial performance Me, Don Quijote offers personal views of creators on the theme of „quixotism“. With the help of suggestive stage equipment, they translate it to audience - through energetic music, movement, animation of material, puppets or objects on the stage that embody personal feelings of Cervantes' hero and create analogies with daily life, in which everybody fights with his own windmills.

The graduating class of puppetry acting introduces itself in the performance Me, Don Quijote as the musical-dramatic ensemble La Manchaft. These students were awarded the Golden Drake at KG in 2011 for their bachelor performance The Comedy About The Rich Man And Lazar. The graduates were directed by Peter Palik and Katarína Aulitisová. It would be a pity to miss it!

Theatre LAB (know as Small Scene and Theatre Chapel in the past) is a contemporary modern scene of students of the Academy of Perfoming Arts in Bratislava. Here, future professionals rehearse their new performances, thanks to which they inspire each other and present them in front of the general public as well.
