Warm-hearted comedy of the bards of Czecho-Slovak humour. Two patients decide to spend their time of living differently than lying around in a sterile hospital. During their adventurous runaway, they meet a whole range of human stories and characters. The pregnant woman begs them to find the father of her child and tell him where she is going to give birth, if he ever decides to be happy. They meet a clumsy suicide victim, dancer, unfaithful woman, men and women in search of or being searched for. “Only when we lose, we find love, faith, hope and happiness.” The play Minus Two is a humane story of two old men, who get to know a life they never knew due to their escape from the hospital. Its author is the young French author Samuel Benchetrir. The play was premiered in 2005 in the Parisian theatre Théâtre Hébertot. Milan Lasica, Bolek Polívka, Zuzana Šebová, Svätopluk Malachovský and the direction of Juraj Nvota – that is an original poetry of humour of one of the most renowned theatre scenes in Bratislava.
