ODYSSEUS CHAOTICUS (Il) Homer in an Italian cuisine

ISH Theater is a group of three talented actors and friends: Fyodor Makarov, Noam Rubinstein and Yolana Zimmerman. The philosophy and belief of this Israeli trio is that a theater, as long as it should have power and influence, sometimes has to move away from today's turbulent times towards poetics, comedy and surrealism so that we obtain different perspective of our everyday reality. The trio will exactly demonstrate that in its fantastic cabaret show ODYSSEUS CHAOTICUS inspired by Homer´s epic poem about Odysseus, the king of Ithaka. The storyline of mythological Odyssey is transmitted to the environment of eccentric Italian family. A husband, romantic dreamer, his choleric and dominant wife, poor and old Papa and noisy, just-born child - all together as sardines in their tiny home. The actors portray many characters in a rapid rhythm full of musical instruments, dance and singing. It manages to tell a story in a funny and poetic way.
