R. Piško (SK): Stano Radič – The Master of the hidden point
“The less a person wonders about himself when alive, the more he is thought about when he dies.” That is the aphorism by Stano Radič(1955 – 2005), who had also unknowingly conceived his epitaph this way. The book by Rasťo Piško is a rememberance of the sociologist, radio editor, screenwriter, dramatist, writer of aphorism and commentary, and, most of all, an amazing person that is missed by everyone. The destiny of those who have voluntarily decided for a life in the ghetto of underrated humour is often unfair. Clowns that make us laugh only seldomly enter the Pantheon of the greats. However, they remain in the hearts of their audience. Because, no matter what, humour is eternal and the people need it just like oxygen. Without it, no one can live honestly in this world. “To have character means to keep your feet on the ground in a world turned upside down,” he wrote in one aphorism. He probably knew what and when he was talking about. He tried to make this strange world of ours a better place with his humour and attitude. To put it back on its feet. It was a laughter therapy, because the humour treatment has many upsides. And even if it doesn't work out, the fun stays! Refresh yourself with excerpts from Rasťo Piško's book about Stano Radič.
