Pavol SERIŠ (SK): Did you enjoy your dish, gentlemen?
"Did you enjoy your dish, gentlemen?" is the latest drama by Pavol Seriš. This is the performance of one actor from the odd world of restaurants and waiters. The actor plays more than twenty different characters using minimum of props and counts on the active imagination of the viewer. The comedy is a mixture of the theatre, mime, absurdity and dance and it tries to use character, situation, verbal and motion comics.
The play was inspired by the work "Mistero buffo" by Italian playwright and Nobel Prize for the literature winner Dario Fo. It resulted from the cooperation with renowned Czech actor and director Arnošt Goldflam at the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno, Czech republic.
Pavol Seriš is a student of Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts. He, with his friend Juraj Hubinský founded an author‘s theatre group Neandertal Teatr in Trenčín in 2006. P. Seriš in addition to the theatre creates cartoons, stand-up comedy or short films. He does not like mustard.
The premiere took place in Trenčín, November 19, 2011, repeats took place so far in Trnava, Liptovský Mikuláš, Brno, Banská Bystrica, Hodonín and Bratislava.
