Kremnica Theatre Under Ground - TOI-TOY STORY

The most stable members of legendary Kremnica theatre and founders of Kremnica gags Tóno Brčka, Jano Fakla and Roman Vykysalý after 20 years tried how „easy” is to make a good comedy. Inspired by their own performance CLOWNS which they prepared in 1989 under the leadership of famous director Peter Scherhaufer they wrote a libretto for a new staging considering the absurdity of a time we live in since the revolution towards this days. Only charismatic clown Roman Vykysalý from the former group of actors and authors performs in a brand new (premiere on May 9, 2010) almost non-verbal motion grotesque TOY-TOI STORY (CLOWNS). In a tandem with younger but equivalent comedians Michal Novák and Dušan Kubáň (guests from Theatre Commedia, Poprad, SK) and charming Veronika Fekiačová (graduate of AU Banská Bystrica, SK) and in costumes by Marek Šafárik they together created a surprising number of excellent gags and entertaining images by which director Jozef Krasula metaphorically expressed the feelings of entire group of new performance makers. More than one hour lasting dynamic comedy full of ideas and situational jokes can be seen in a production by renewed Kremnica Theatre Under Ground in a Marquee under Castle on Saturday at 9:45 p.m. Production is suitable for children since the age of nine.
