RAMBLING THEATRE (SK) Gentlemen from the past...

RAMBLING THEATRE is a independent professional theatre which was established as author’s project of two directors Jakub Nvota and Kamil Žiška. They wrote and created a dramatical couple for their own cabaret productions together. In 2001, the group has expanded and started to work on projects of street theatre with a cycle of Miraculous plays by W. Shakespeare (“Macbeth, or Much Blood About Nothing“, “Hamlet, or The Discovery Of The Skull“, “Romeo, Juliet and Virus“). Today, the theatre has its permanent scene in Bratislava at Loď in Theatre in Podpalubie. Their repertoire consists of copyright plays, such as “Piano revue – Tribute to V+W“, “Cyrano, (Balábilé About Nose“) and plays close to the poetry of Rambling Theatre (W. Allen: God).

IN VINO...

Cabaret performance with songs by Jakub Nvota – Kamil Žiška was created as a particular view on two literary opposites, two principles of life... Two men meet in one room during one night. They are Don Juan and Don Quixote. Their lives, their philosophy, their attitude to women are radically different. They stand, so to speak, facing each other. However, they are also attracted to each other on the other hand. They spend together one night talk which ends with death, but also with reapprochement. Two big worlds inspire each other and there results something new... something that forms the basis of our culture.

The performance is suitable for the audience since the age of 15.
