Rambling Theatre - Into the time of Romeo and Juliet

After the market versions of Hamlet and Macbeth, Rambling Theatre / Túlavé divadlo from Trnava (SK) closes a cycle of Magical plays by Shakespeare's third play called ROMEO, JULIET AND VIRUS. As in previous performances the tragedy will change into a comedy with verses and original humour of Rambling Theatre / Túlavé divadlo again. The authors began to think about the idea – how the relationship of Romeo and Juliet – the eternal lovers – would look like in today's world. They asked themselves a question whether they are still in an age to perform these two heroes and when they replied negatively they started to look for a solution how to act these characters. So we can meet the aging actor Jožko who has to play a wet nurse instead of Romeo. Juliet is played by the only actress in an ensamble. And after all there is a nervous tick of Montague family...
