Theatre COMMEDIA (SK): Snow laughed until it falls

Theatre COMMEDIA from Poprad was established in October 1968 and by its systematic activities (one play a year) is ranked among the most successful theatre groups in Slovakia.

By this time it will come to Kremnica with a play by contemporary Bulgarian writer Jordan Radičkov named SNOW LAUGHED UNTIL IT FALLS. It is a play based on the tradition of folk narratives, satire, slapstick and kind and gentle humour.

Dramaturgy and directing was again in hands of Vlado Benko and actors’ performance is brilliant in every detail. Sketched plot: ”Where did Patar, Hadži, Isaj and Christo disappear? What happened in the snowy woods? What would people from the city do if they found ”bigľajz” in crosswords? Do birds drink alcohol? Is a bee domesticated pet or not?” says it will be the comedy about villagers who have a sense of imagination.

You can see the performance in Kremnica´s Akropola cinema, Saturday, August 27, at 21:45pm. More at: http://www.commedia.sk/sneh.html
