Michal Kubovčík (SK): BAŠTRNG

The original project by Michal Kubovčik in collaboration with director Karol Vosátko and music composer Juraj Haško brings its own view on the works of mandatory school reading, history, chemistry or anatomy. The aim is to bring Comenius' idea of "Didactica Magna" to teenagers, making learning fun. This fresh project introduces youtube videos where the mandatory learning is depicted in a funny, brief, captivating, and varied way. Sometimes, it's animation, comic, drawing, sometimes a stand-up, acting, or videoclip. Glance at the playful school Baštrng, too, and get inspired! You will eagerly come back to the classical works, remember the complicated plots easily and laugh a lot in the process. The project is nominated for the Stano Radič award for the Newcomer of the year.
