A neo-circus grotesque, a funeral cocktail of dark bizarre humour!

It is with great grief in our hearts that we want to inform all relatives and strangers, friends and enemies about the passing of our husband, father, son, and Holy Ghost. We gladly accept your grievances. Sob, sob, sob.

Our funeral service, (definitely) ltd., offers a wide range of services – juggling with the deceased, acrobacy with the widow, pole-danse macabre or laying down in a coffin. The above-standard services include also dead music at the ceremony, a crying speaker, freshly chopped onions and black underpants for the dead person. Our workers are carefully schooled in their craft, so that they can meet the highest demands of putting someone into their grave. We do not take any responsibility for any unwanted situations.

Try out funeral cocktail of dark slapstick and poetic images, mixed with circus disciplines. The new original play Funeral is the final nail in the coffin after the successful Swimming Pool and is created, once again, in cooperation between the Bratři v tricku ensemble and the director Veronika Poldauf Riedlbauch. Don’t hesitate, you don’t want to be a day late and a dollar short at the funeral!

P.S.: We would like to note that the deceased is entitled to two vacation days at work.

Funeral notice: Veronika Poldauf Riedlbauchová

The Bratři v tricku Ensemble was created in 2009, when Václav Jelínek and Adam Jarchovský presented their collaboration at the festival Letní Letná in Prague. In the following years, they also took part in the Festival of New Circus Cirk-UFF and other prestigious new circus events in their native Czech republic. They attained success with the play Swimming Pool, thus becoming the group to make waves in the Czech neo-circus art.
