Theatre DRAK (CZ): LAST TRICK OF G. MÉLIES

The theatre play by the unique Theatre Drak is a tribute to the world of magic, film, and imagination. It is inspired by the remarkable story and works of the cinematography pioneer, George Mélies. It will take the viewers to an attractive world of tricks and magic. Sorceries and mysteries, which Mélies used in film as the first person ever, remain engaging artistic poetry to this day. And they have many followers, because not even death can touch Mélies' world of unbridled imagination. Celuloid, illusion, and fantasy are weapons that can overcome the Grim Reaper! Right? The answer will be revealed at the end of a journey through the fascinating life story of the greates film magician of all time.

The play for children over 9, directed by Jiří Havelka, has won the award for the best puppet play of the last season in the Czech Republic.
