The alley of famous noses

The Alley of Famous Noses was founded 28th August 2004 at 24^th year of festival of humour Kremnica gags in 2004. The author of the original idea is Roman Vykysalý. The idea of a tribute to the memory of great Slovakian humorists and NOSE as a significant symbol was completed by famous Slovak glossarist, humourist and cabaret actor Stano RADIČ, friend and supporter of the festival Kremnica gags. Unfortunately, he left us suddenly, 8 April 2005.

The Alley of Famous Noses is located in the center of Kremnica in Kollárova street just above the Main Square. It consists of a courtyard of Ján Levoslav Bella´s house where there is also a permanent exhibition of the Museum of Kitsch. Festival organizers reveal a face sculpture of one major personality every year of the festival, as a memory of Slovak artist who was passing out joy, hilarity and good humor in his/her life.
