The unique Bratislava musical group Preßburger Klezmer Band has gained many supporters and recognition since its formation in 1995. This first Slovak group of its kind, inspired by emotional and dance music of from Central and Eastern Europe is also one of the best-rated klezmer bands in Europe. They will mix a charming, emotive, and energetic musical cocktail of Jewish, Balkan and oriental music, as well as Slovak and gypsy folklore – with an additional essence of more contemporary musical styles such as jazz, reggae or latino. You will hear rich exotica, songs in Yiddish, Hebrew, Slovak, Hungarian, English and Serbian. Dance as much as you wish to a selection of the greatest hits by a band with a legacy of over 20 years and counting.
